BIPO is a Pre-approved Service Provider in Brunei’s PENJANA Scheme

BIPO, a leading global payroll and HR solutions provider, announced that it has successfully been listed under the pre-approved solution package in the PENJANA scheme, launched by the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI).

The Productivity and Efficiency Joint-Funding for Digital Adoption (PENJANA) scheme aims to encourage the adoption of digital solutions by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the financial funding of a portion of the solutions’ total cost for a period of one (1) year. With the adoption of digital solutions, MSMEs can scale their businesses, reduce operating costs, and improve productivity by managing resources efficiently.

From accounting, digital Point of Sale (POS) systems, eCommerce, ePayments, and HR Management Systems (HRMS) to Customer Service Management solutions, AITI will provide funding support to local MSMEs in the form of subsided digital solution costs from a list of pre-approved solution packages listed on AITI’s website.

The amount of funding will be based on the businesses’ annual turnover, and digital solutions applied. Further information on the funding amount can be found on PENJANA’s website and guidebook. Furthermore, the subsidy scheme is capped at BND$5,000.00 upon the business’s choices of digital solution as per listed in the scheme.
